Dear Readers & Friends,
One of my blogging colic ask me to write sumthing about Healthy Lifestyle.But when i did some research about it i found out that this topic is so wide tht I have to classify them to a few topics to make it more manageble to understand...So for the first episode of Healthy Lifestyle I will start with HEALTHY EATING ...

Redefining Healthy Eating

New Year’s resolutions aside, most of us find making and sticking to the resolve to eat healthier a bit of a challenge, to say the least. And that’s even though study after study shows that people who eat healthier have a greater chance of living longer, better lives. For example, a study published last year of over 42,000 women suggested that women who ate closest to the recommended number of servings of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy and lean meats and poultry definitely lived longer.

So what’s the problem with eating healthier? Many times, it’s all in how we define it.

Positive or Negative?

When we say the words ‘healthy eating,’ what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Is it a positive thought, such as “I feel better” or “It energizes me”? Or is it something negative, such as “boring,” “inconvenient” or “small portions”?

If you’re like the majority of women who come to Green Mountain, the list of negative reactions is much longer than the list of positive reactions. While we all recognize the positive benefits of healthy eating, it’s our negative feelings about it that end up creating obstacles to our doing it on a regular basis. We often feel that healthy eating doesn’t taste good, and we have pictures of ourselves spending hours in the kitchen chopping vegetables.

Certainly, if that’s your vision, it’s easy to see why healthy eating doesn’t particularly appeal. But take a moment to think about why you choose the foods you do when you make an attempt to eat healthy. We frequently choose foods that are lowest in fat, sugar, salt, calories…and therefore, taste and convenience. Why? Because we’re not seeking to eat healthy as much as we are trying to lose weight.

Changing the Definition

The trouble is, many of us have perceptions of healthy eating that are defined by diets. The diets that have “educated” us about healthy eating, or our own desire to take weight off fast, have led us to equate healthy eating with consuming the minimum number of calories we can get by with. And that often leaves us unsatisfied, or facing a great deal of difficulty in feeding ourselves when we’re not in our kitchens preparing our own meals.

The solution? Embrace the notion that healthy eating does include higher-fat, higher-sugar, higher-calorie foods if you like them. Within the context of an overall eating plan that features lower-fat, lower-sugar, lower-calorie foods the majority of the time, a few chocolate chip cookies or small bag of potato chips can be just the thing you need to make healthy eating work for you, for both weight loss and good health.

So start today. Resolve to eat healthy. But remember, it doesn’t matter how healthy a food is -- if it doesn’t taste good, you’re not likely to continue eating it. Eat balanced meals and snacks that include your favorite foods. And think broadly about what your favorite foods are. Many of us love carrot sticks and chocolate chip cookies. Maybe not at the same time, but over the course of a day, it’s easy to fit both in.

Here’s to a long, healthy life…enjoying eating in a way that truly feels great!

RECIPE OF THE DAY 7(MEE UDANG)

Ini lah MEE UDANG PULAU PINANG yg betul betul "Hou-Liaw"...Wahahahahahahaha......
BAHAN BAHANYA
1 kati mi kuning
½ kati udang basah - bersaiz sederhana
10 tangkai cili kering - dikisar
5 biji buah keras}di kisar
2 biji bawang besar} di kisar
2 ulas bawang putih} di kisar
Sedikit belacan } di kisar
Sedikit udang kering} di kisar
3 camca teh sos cili
3 camca teh sos tomato
½ sudu teh gula pasir
4 batang sawi
½ kati taugeh
2 pokok daun bawang
2 tangkai daun sup
5 biji tahu - goreng dan potong empat segi sederhana nipis.
5 biji cili masak
Limau kasturi
Sedikit bawang goreng

CARA CARANYA
Rebus udang basah terlebih dahulu. Kemudian toskan airnya asingkan ketepi. Ambil kepala udang dan kisar. Kemudian ambil air kepala udang tadi satukan dengan air rebusan yg sedia ada.

Panaskan minyak masak dan tumis bahan kisar seperti bawang merah/putih/belacan dan udang kering.

Setelah naik wanginya
masukkan sos cili/tomato, garam, gula dan serbuk perasa.

Seterusnya
masukan air rebusan udang yang telah disimpan tadi.

Untuk sayuran tadi sawi dan taugeh hendak lah dicelur terlebih dahulu. Begitu juga dengan mi kuning.

Setelah selesai semuanya hidangkan bersama bawang goreng, daun bawang, hirisan tahu goreng dan daun sup. Perahkan limau kasturi.(boleh di tambah dgn hirisan Telur rebus jika suka)

BUAT DUIT DGN BLOG DAN GOOGLE ADSENSE

Tahukah anda...Sudah ramai yang menjadi kaya raya dgn hanya memiliki blog dan website dan meletakkan iklan iklan Googles didalamnya..?Malah ada di antara mereka yang bergelar jutawan dengan hanya bekerja di rumah depan internet sepenuh masa...Bagai mana mereka lakukannya??Anda mungkin fikirkan kenyataan lia ni TAK MASUK AKAL tapi kalau korang baca sampai abis cerita lia ni korang akan pecaya...Sebelum tu nak tanya gak...korang tau ke apa tu GOOGLE ADSENSE??
Haa...dalam imej kat atas tu(walaupun tak clear)yang korang nampak mcm iklan iklan kecik..kadang kadang melintang kadang kadang menegak bila korang masuk ke laman web...itu lah dia GOOGLE adsense.Nampak jer kecik dan remeh tapi kuasa iklan kecik ni lebih besar daripada saiz dia sehingga mampu buat org jadi kaya raya...Korang ingat org wat web...wat blog sekadar nak suka suka je ke..(lain la mcm aku mmg wat untuk suka suka...heheh)sebenarnya ada misi besar di sebalik bikin blog ni.....Bila ada org click pada iklan ,diorg diakan bagi kita komisyen...itu belum lagi kalau org tu melanggan atau membeli product tersebut...Dalam dunia ni ada banyak pengiklan pengiklan yang berdaftar dgn googles....iklan iklan malaysia pun banyak....yang best tu dia bayar kita dalam USD.Bayang kan kalau kita mampu dapat USD100 pun untuk sebulan..kalau convert pada RM dah berapa...???Ada kengkawan yg dah tunjuk cek bulan pertama yg google hantar USD35....kalau RM dah berapa??Sekurang kurang nya ada jugak habuan diorang wat blog blog ni...Itu habuan untuk 1 blog...belum lagi 2..3..4...dan lagi dan lagi...hmmm...
Tapi sorry to say...nak memohon dapat kan iklan google ni cerewet lah jugak...ye la diorang mudah nak bagi kita duit jadi syarat lulus tu ketat lah sikit...tapi kalau korang dapat panduan yang betul daripada mereka yang telah berjaya,...insyaallah...org melayu kat mesia ni pun ramai dah kaya dgn adsense...
Kalau korang berminat ni ada buku panduan untuk berjaya dalam adsense...buku ni mudah di fahami...yang paling penting buku ni dalam BAHASA MELAYU so korang tak yah nak pepening kepala..segala keterangan mudah di fahami..pendek kata kalau korang nak mula buat duit ngan adsense ini lah panduan yg terbaik untuk' newbie' mcm kita....Harga mampu milik untuk semua golongan....


Selamat berjaya...lia pun nak cecuba gak lah...lepas duit bayo tenet pon jadi lah...hehehehe....

ADAKAH KAMU PEROLEHI SETIAP YG DIIDAMKAN...?
 


Rata2 ciri ciri lelaki yang kaum hawa inginkan mesti ada ayat2 sebegini:
1). Calon suami yang tidak merokok.
2). Calon suami yang bersembahyang, taat pada perintah Allah
3). Penyayang, Penyabar
4). Suka Berterus terang.
5). Romantik
6). TIdak mempermainkan Kaum Hawa
7). Berbudi Bahasa
8). Kelakar

hakikatnya....

1). Purata 9 daripada 10 lelaki adalah perokok, camner la korang nak carik yang tak merokok...kekadang tu dia tak merokok depan korang...tapi belakang

2). Yup, Sembahyang @ Solat... yang diwajibkan ada 5, tapi alahai...kadang2 dapat 3 pun dah besar rahmat dah la..Wallahualam..

3). Penyayang & Penyabor?? mungkin masa bercinta & masa tengah carik jodoh jer kot...riso lepas kawin jadik Penerajang & Penampor jerk..

4). Lelaki memang suka berterus terang...takde gelap2 punya...omputih kata straight 2 the point...melayu kata, sound tepat...

5). Romantik? apa definisi romantik yang sebenarnya? cari dalam kamus tengok - camner ciri2 lelaki romantik...sesapa leh huraikan??

6). Kaum lelaki memang tidak pernah sesekali mempermainkan kaum Hawa..never...ever...forever... hakikat yang berlaku sekarang ni...kaum lelaki la yang banyak kena main dengan kaum Hawa...lelaki kalau dia kata dia sayang, dia cinta.... arus elektrik pun tak dapat hanyutkan dia....but ingat....itu kalau dia kata dia sayang or cinta jerk

7). Berbudi Bahasa ni kena tengok dengan attitude seseorang tu..kalau cara dia cakap dengan kita pun macam hampeh, takkan la dia tak hampeh depan mak bapak kita esok. nak yang betul berbudi?? cari la yang tak hampeh...

8). Kelakar....nampak gaya kaum lelaki kena langgan majalah ujang la...supaya ada modal time dating nanti...memang best dapat pasangan yang kelakar...tapi kalau sebijik macam Mr. Bean...rasanya mak bapak kita pun malu nak ngaku menantu..kan..kan...kan?

Sejak hari pertama lia menghebahkan tentang penganjuran YM BOWLING KING 2008 yang bakal diadakan pada MEI ..alhamdulillah sambutan nya amat menggalakkan.Yang paling membanggakan kita dapat banyak sumbangan dari pelbagai pihak...Dan yang terbaru...ada peserta yang telah bermurah hati untuk beri subsidi dalam pembelian T SHIRT Kejohanan.Kalau dulu untuk badget mampu milik kami , kami dah bersetuju untuk berikan T SHIRT jer....tapi dengan sumbangan kawan kita sorang ni....TEAM YM BOWLING KING 2008 akan tambah bergaya dgn Kemeja Koperat yg ala ala baju TEAM FORMULA 1 dgn tiada sebarang penambahan pembayaran....Amacam?Gempak tak?hehehe...Bayangkan dgn RM35 hengget dapat baju koperat YM BOWLING KING 2008...mana nak dapat beb!Kalau korang tak dapat bayangkan baju mcm mana yg lia maksudkan dgn baju Koperat....kat bawah ni contoh dia...Warna yg kita pilih pun hampir sama...bahagian badan warna hitam an bahagian lengan warna merah....MUKTAMAT!hehehe....

Amacam???Berminat tak??Kalau berminat daftar lah segera sementara pandaftaran masih di buka sehingga 15 APRIL ini...jgn terlambat kerana penyertaan adalah TERHAD!Untuk Pendaftaran dan segala syarat penyertaan serta prosedur pembayaran anda boleh KLIK DI SINI.

P/S:..kalau ada lagi yang bermurah hati nak sumbang apa apa....towel Good Morning ke...Snek ke....Cenderahati ke....pendek kata apa saja...kecik tapak tgn nyiru kami tadah kan...berhubung lah dgn pihak kami(LIA)kalau ada yg nak sponsor....Moga akan bertambah rezeki tuan puan masa akan datang...AMIN...!

P/S/S:Suka diingatkan harga RM35 tu hanya kepada mereka yang menyertai dan membuat bayaran penuh RM50...Baju ni tak boleh di beli tanpa penyertaan..Kalau nak jugak beli baju ni tapi tak nak menyertai... korang kena gak bayo harga penuh RM50.

DESSERT(Watermelon Berry Zinger)

This a simple but marvoulles dessert that I ever had....Should try everyone!


Ingredients
3 cups seedless watermelon
6 large fresh strawberries, halved & frozen
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 lemon, juice of
1 1/2 cups lemon sherbet
4 ounces coconut rum
6 ice cubes
4 watermelon wedges



Directions
1Place watermelon, Strawberries, lemon juice, sherbet,rum, and ice in a blender.
2Blend until smooth.
3Pour into glasses garnished with a watermelon wedges.

RECIPE OF THE DAY 6(Simple Basic Pizza)
 


A pizza that has very basic ingredients, but my family and friends love the taste.For the topping its up to all of you what you desire...whether you want chicken,crabmeat,pine apples,seafood,mushrooms,sausager,smoke chicken ham or anything else...But please remember to cover them up again wth tomato sauce and mozarella cheese before goes into the oven...if you want the pizza to be a little bit hot and a taste of asean you can put some cupsicum(Cili benggala) as the topping....


Ingredients
3 cups luke-warm water
1 tablespoon yeast
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon salt
8-10 cups flour
2 tablespoons cornmeal
3(8ounce)cans tomato sauce
6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese



Directions
1.Add water, yeast, sugar, and salt to mixing bowl.
2.Let sit 10 minutes. You should see bubbles of yeast (if not, you may have the wrong water temperature: start over).
3.Mix in flour conservatively - don't add too much. After mixing it in, keep adding until dough is not wet looking and can be kneaded.
4.Knead dough until smooth.
5.Let rise at least 30 minutes (ideally 1 hour) at room temperature.
6.Pre-heat oven to 475 degrees.
7.Split dough into pieces (3-5 depending on size of pizza).
8.Roll dough out each to the size of your pan (toss if desired to help reach appropriate size).
9.Sprinkle corn meal onto each pan.
10.Place dough onto pans, stretching or squeezing if necessary to fit properly.
11.Spread some tomato sauce onto dough, leaving about an inch around the outside without sauce.
12.Spread some cheese on top of the sauce.
13.Add additional toppings as desired.
14.Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until dough is fully cooked. The bottom of the pizza should be at least a little crispy.

RECIPE OF THE DAY 5(CHEESE CAKE)

Crust:
14 rectangular graham crackers
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
8 Tbsp. unsalted butter at room temperature
Filling:
4 (8oz) packages cream cheese at room temperature
1-1/4 C. sugar
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice (I have used the bottled kind before and it turned out fine)
1 tsp. vanilla


graham crackers

Directions
1.To prepare the crust, place the graham crackers in a large food storage bag.
2.Finely crush with a rolling pin.
3.Place in a bowl, and add the sugar & cinnamon, stir to mix well.
4.Add butter until well blended.
5.Scatter crumbs over the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.
6.Cover with plastic wrap and press evenly over the bottom & up the sides of the pan.
7.Refrigerate until ready to use.
8.Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Filling:
1.Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until well blended & smooth.
2.Gradually beat in sugar until well blended.
3.Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4.Add lemon juice & vanilla; beat until well blended.
5.Pour cheese mixture evenly into crust lined pan.
6.Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes or until center is just set. (it will be a little jiggly)
7.Remove pan from oven to a wire rack to cool completely.

**My cheesecake center tends to drop when I do this, so what I'll do is shut the oven off and pull the door open a little. This tends to help it from dropping.**

8.Refrigerate for at least 12 hours or over night.
9.To serve, remove side of pan and cut into wedges.
10.Eat plain or drizzle your favorite fruit and it's juices over the top.

Hmm..lia nak share something dengan korang yang masuk ke blog ni...tentang senario pelajar di sekolah sekarang.Yanglia nak sentuh bukan ttg pelajar salah laku atau yg ada masalah displin yang besar besar tu...tapi masalah kecik tapi kalau tak di bendung akan jadi parah...yang biasanya berlaku di sekolah rendah...

Sekarang dah dekat nak masuk bulan APRIL....pecaya tak korang kalau lia bagi tau bahawa sampai sekarang ni masih ada lagi murid darjah 1 yang menangis tak mau ke sekolah....dan suruh mak menebeng kat tepi pintu kelas??Hmm....pelik kan?Aku ingat zaman cyber mcm ni budak budak otak dah mcm komputer benda mcm ni dah tak ada lagi...tapi tak....


Kalau bulan january atau february tu aku leh maafkan lagi la budak mcm ni....tapi kalau dah nak masuk april mmg dah melampau...Yang tambah menyakitkan hati la.mak bapak ni tak abih bih nak menyalahkan sekolah dan cikgu.....katanya cikgu garang sgt la..anak dia takut la...tak leh cakap keras keras la...padahal pihak sekolah ni dah cuba mcm mcm....dia kata cikgu tu garang dah tukar cikgu yg suara lembut mcm sutera.....dia tak suka budak budak dlm kelas tu suka kacau dia katanya...kita tukar dia g kelas lain(walau pun tahap pencapaian dia lemah atau dlm perkataan yg lebih tepat "bodoh siut" tapi di sebab kan nk ikut rentak dia dan mak bapak diakami masukkan dia kat kelas budak cerdik)hmm tapi keadan masih sama...mak dia masih gak terponggok kat tepi pintu kelas sampai cikgu cikgu nak masuk ngajar pon jadi kurang selesa.Ynag tambah sakit hati budak sekor ni...bila mak dia dah ada kat tepi pintu sekolah,ikut suka mak bapak dia dia nak keluar g kat mak dia ke ape ke...sampai cikgu kat depan kelas tu dia dah tak ambik peduli...hmm patut ke mcm tu??nak di sergah nanti dia kata pulak cikgu garang ...sergah tak sebrapa tapi meraung nya mcm kena libas sampai berguling atas lantai...Mak bapak ni seolah olah nak suruh org layan anak dia jer...dia tak tau ke kerana cikgu layan anak dia pembelajaran untuk 36 org murid yg lain dalam kelas tu jadi terganggu....patut ke mcm tu???


Kalau anda seorang guru tentu anda setuju dgn saya kalau saya katakan guru sebenarnya ada cara tersendiri nak rawat budak budak mcm ni...walaupun ada kalanya kita perlu guna cara keras tapi itu semua tak lebih untuk buat budak tu elok mcm budak budak lain.Sebenarnya yang budak tu jadi SPOIL ialah mak bapak dia yg manjakan sgt anak tu...dan juga mak bapak yg ikut campur tgn dalam tugas guru di sekolah...Korang setuju tak kalau aku katakan budak budak ni kalau ada mak bapak dia...dia mmg besar kepala...mengada ngada mcm nak mampos.....jadi kalau mak bapak dia terus ada kat ctu....pihak sekolah dan guru mmg tak leh wat apa apa....

Pihak guru dan sekolah cuma mau mak bapak ni beri kerjasama sikit jer...yg lain semua serahkan kat kami...tau la kami nak buat mcm mana....jgn takut la...guru guru pon takan la sampai nak membunuh...paling kuat pun sergah jer...budak darjah 1 berani nya sampi mana sgt...di sergah elok la dia....tapi dgn SYARAT masa nak sergah muka mak bapak jgn ada kat situ...100% aku jamin budak tu elok punya...

Hmm....nak cerita la...sebenarnya dalam kelas lia ada 3 org yg mcm ni...tapi yg dua org tu dah elok yang sorang BAGHAL ni jer yg tak elok elok...Yang 2 tu elok bukan nya apa...pasal mak bapak bagi kerjasama....anak menagis meronta ronta dia tinggal jer anak dia tergolek kat lantai...dia balik....itu tindakkan mak bapak yg betul...betul betul nak anak tu kesekolah...mcm mak bapak zaman kita dulu...Si anak pun bila mak bapak dah balik...dia dah tak ada tempat pergantungan....besar kepala dia pun kecut la....last last elok pon masuk ke kelas belajar sampai waktu sekolah tamat...

Aku mmg belum ada anak...tapi nasihat lia pada yang dah anak..nak manja manja kan anak tu berpada pada la...kalau manjakan anak tak mau g sekolah...esok besar anak tu nak jadi apa...kalau banyak sgt komplen kat pihak sekolah...amik borang tukarkan jer anak tu ke sekolah lain...tapi sepasti mana budak tu leh elok kat sekolah lain...dan kalau sayang sgt anak tu sampai org tak leh jentik...simpan duit banyak banyak hantar anak kat sekolah swasta......Pikir pikirkan lah....

Di sini ingin lia war warkan yang pihak kami akan mengadakan GATHERING sekali lagi...tapi kali ni berbeza sikit...kita akan adakan Pertandingan Bowling.Gathering kali ini kita akan namakan BOWLING KING '08 dan official logo nya adalah seperti diatas...

Sebenarnya matlamat utama gathering ni bukan lah nak main bowling sgt..sebab rata rata kat sini bukan pandai main bowling pon...kita tibai jer...Cuma selain berjumpa dan mengeratkan silaturrahim...kita nak adakan aktiviti yg berfaedah dan sihat...jadi sebagai percubaan kita anjurkan pertandingan bowling ni...

Butiran tentang perjumpaan itu adalah seperti berikut:

Sebelum nak cerita panjang...tgok dulu pic ni...

Ini lah pic yang lia katakan kontroversi...hehehe...sejak lia paparkan pic ini kat display image YM ramai yg dtg brtanya...ada yang tanya boyfren lia mat salleh ke,ada gak yg tanya lia dah nikah mat salleh ke,tak kurang jugak ada yang cemburu dan yg lebih teruk lagi ada yang mencemuh .. katanya pakai seksi sgt sedangkan awak ni bertudung...sebelum lia mengulas panjang lia nak ucapkan terima kasih banyak banyak pada mereka yg telah memberi perhatian pada lia dan terima kasih jugak atas teguran teguran tu...ternyata lia masih punya ramai teman teman yg ambil tahu dan ambil berat....

Hmm...sebenarnya pic tu tak lebih dari hasil kreativiti org yg berminat dalam bidang photo editing dan super impose jer...hehehe..Itu adalah hasil kerja lia sendiri...mungkin mmg dah jadi kebiasaan lia suka cuba perkara baru dalam bidang ni....sebenarnya masih ber'tatih' dan hasil kerja nya pun masih kasar....ada banyak lagi yg perlu lia perbaiki dan pelajari...

Tapi di sebalik pic yg kontroversi ni...ada pulak cerita kelakarnya...tak sangka jugak ramai pulak yg berminat menawarkan diri (terutama lelaki) meminta agar pic wajah mereka di editkan pada wajah lelaki dalam gambar...heheheh..kelakar kan?Konon konon berangan tengah pelok pelok dgn lia lah eh?Hahahaha....

CAESAR SALAD
Di blog ni kita sering membincangkan tentang fakta kesihatan tentang beberapa jenis penyakit kronik yg kita semua sedia maklum...dan yang terbaru ialah posting lia ttg diet yg betul bagi pengidap penyakit buah pinggang...jadi kesinambungan dari pada itu di sini ada satu resepi yang sesuai bagi mereka yang mengamalkan gaya hidup sihat...

Hmm..resepi dan bahan bahan dia senang lah sgt...sampai kan kalau budak tadika pon rasanya boleh buat salad ni....kata HILMI buat salad ni main campak campak jer so dia tak ada sukatan khusus...semuanya berpandukan pada banyak mana salad tu kita nak buat dan mengikut citarasa masing masing.
Oleh kerana salad ni adalah sejenis makanan barat so bahan bahan dia juga dari barat...tapi jgn bimbang bahan bahan dia ada di pasaraya pasaraya kat Malaysia ni...


Yang di perlukan ialah:

  • Daun salad(kalau boleh dapat kan iceberg salad tp salad biasa pun memadai)


  • Caesar Salad Sos(boleh didapati di pasaraya)


  • Keju Parmesan


  • Cruton(sejenis biskut kecil,ada di jual di pasaraya)

Cara Membuatnya:

Di campurkan semua bahan tadi dalam mangkuk.Semua nya tertakluk kepada berapa banyak anda ingin hasilkan salad ni...kalau nak buat banyak maka bahan bahan lain pun hendaklah di masukkan bersesuaian sukatannya dgn salad.Jgn di gaul terlalu kuat nanti akan menyebab kan daun salad renyuk dan salad kita tak nampak segar.sebaik baik nya untuk buat salad itu sebati dgn sos nya tanpa merenyuk kan daun adalah dengan menangkup kan mangkuk salad dgn satu mangkuk lain yg sama besar...dan menggoncang goncangkan bahan tadi agar sebati.Ini akan memelihara kesegaran daun salad dan pada masa yg sama bahan bahan menjadi sebati.Dan kita tak perlu masukkan sebarang serbuk perisa kerana sos dan cruton tadi sudah memberi perasa kepada salad.

Wallahhhhhh....dah siap salad kita...hidangan ini amat sesuai untuk mereka yg sedang diet tau yg gemar makan sayuran segar....cubalah...!!!Enak dan menyihatkan...

When you have kidney disease, your kidneys are no longer able to filter waste products and fluids from your blood. You can help control a buildup of these substances by avoiding foods that tend to make the problem worse.
It is also important to make sure you get enough calories. Healthy eating can help control your blood pressure, weight, and
cholesterol and blood sugar levels to help slow the progression of kidney disease. Your doctor may recommend calcium supplements or vitamin D for bone health.
Each person has different needs, based on body weight, size, and remaining kidney function. Most people need to limit sodium, fluids, and protein. Some also have to limit potassium, phosphorus, and calcium. A
registered dietitian or nutritionist can help make an eating plan that is right for you.


For general ideas on how to follow the diet your doctor or dietitian recommends, see the topic:

General guidelines
To limit sodium:
Make a habit of reading food labels. Avoid foods that list salt (sodium) or monosodium glutamate (MSG) near the beginning of the list.
Do not use processed cheeses or canned, pickled, or smoked meats, which may be high in sodium.
Do not add salt to your food. Use lemon, herbs, and other spices to improve the flavor of your meals.



To limit protein:
Work with a dietitian to develop an eating plan that balances your need for less protein with enough protein to stay healthy.
Your dietician may tell you to limit high-protein foods to 5 to 7 ounces (142 g to 198 g) a day. A 3-ounce (85 g) serving of protein is about the size of a deck of cards.
Learn about the sources of protein. Most people know that meats, fish, and dairy products contain protein. They may not know that foods such as breads, cereals, and vegetables also contain protein.
Choose high-quality protein, such as lean meat, chicken, fish, cheese, or eggs, in your diet. If you eat tuna, choose water-packed, and rinse it well before eating.


To limit fluid:
Do not have more than 48 fl oz of fluids a day. Foods that are liquid at room temperature, such as soup, Jell-O, and ice cream, count as fluids.
Be aware that some fruits and vegetables contain a lot of water and will count in your fluid intake. Examples include grapes, oranges, apples, lettuce, and celery.


To limit phosphorus:
Limit your phosphorus intake to 800 to 1000 mg a day.
Limit your intake of dairy products, such as milk, yogurt, or ice cream.
Avoid nuts, peanut butter, seeds, lentils, peas, and beans.
Avoid drinks such as beer, cola drinks, and cocoa.


To limit potassium:
Ask your doctor if it is all right to use a salt substitute. Some people with kidney disease need to limit their potassium intake.
Use lemon, herbs, and other spices to flavor your meals. Most commercially available salt substitutes are very high in

potassium.
If you are having trouble keeping your weight up, keep the following in mind:
You may eat bread, tortillas, and cereals, but avoid bran breads or cereals. Do not eat pretzels, chips, or other salted snack foods.
You may use margarine, oil, and mayonnaise to add calories to your diet. Vegetable oils like olive oil, canola oil, or safflower oil are the healthiest choices.
Unless you have diabetes, you may use honey and sugar to increase energy and add calories.
It is important to continue to eat meals and snacks at regular times.
If you are overweight:
Limit the amount of calories you take in daily.
Increase your overall physical activity.

(RECIPIE OF THE DAY 3)KEK COKLAT BASAH

Seorang teman blogger saya telah meminta saya upload kan KEK COKLAT BASAH..jadi sebagai menunaikan permintaan teman saya yg satu ni...untuk resepi kali ini saya uploadkan resepi yang di minta...harap berpuas hati...Ada banyak cara dan jenis kek coklat...tapi yg saya pilih kli ini ialah kek coklat yang paling simple...resepinya pun mudah di dapati..tapi hasilnya insyaallah puas hati...cuba lah...dan jika ada sebarang komen atau pertanyaan sila tinggal kan di komen bawah...GOOD LUCK!



Kek Coklat Basah




Bahan

180 gm butter

250 gm gula kastor

3 biji telur

300 gm air

250 gm tepung gandum + 50 gm serbuk coklat +1 s/k baking powder +1 s/k soda bikarbonate (kesemuanya di ayak bersama)



Cara:

1. Gula dan butter dipukul sehingga kembang dan gebu.

2. Masukkan telur satu persatu.

3. Masukkan tepung gandum(yg telah di ayak bersama bahan bahan tadi) dan akhirnya masukkan air pula.

4. Bakar dalam oven yg telah dipanaskan 180'C selama 50 -60 minit.



Topping Coklat :
250 gm cooking coklat
30 gm cocoa butter



Cara Membuat Topping:
1. Masukan bahan dalam periuk kecil.
2. Panaskan periuk kecil dalam periuk/pan yg lebih besar yg berisi air dan sentiasa kacau supaya coklat larut.
3. Sejukkan sebentar supaya coklat agak pekat.
4. Curahkan perlahan atas kek coklat dan ratakan dengan spatula kek dan gunakan sikat kek untuk membuat corak.
5. Hiaskan topping mengikut kreativiti masing masing.

Ingredients:

(A)

4 egg yolks

40g sugar

1/4 tsp salt

(B)

85ml corn oil warmed

25g cocoa powder

(C)

135ml warm water

(D)

125g cake flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

(E)

4 egg whites

1/2 tsp cream of tartar

50g sugar



Simple syrup plus

Filling

8 marachino cherries with stems

15 oz can pitted sour cherries halved

1 tbsp cornflour plus

2 tbsp water

400ml whipping cream whipped with 2 tbsp icing sugar

80g shaved Dark Chocolate



Method:

1. Mix ingredients (A) well with a hand whisk.

2. Stir cocoa powder in warmed oil until dissolved and pour into yolk mixture.

3. Stir (C) into yolk mixture.

4. Sieve ingredient (D) and stir it into yolk mixture.

5. Whip egg whites in a clean mixing bowl until big bubbles are formed. Add in the cream of tartar and whip and add in sugar in 3 portions while whipping the whites. Whip until stiff peaks formed.

6. Pour 1/3 white into yolk mixture and blend well.

7. Pour yolk mixture into the remaining egg white mixture and blend well.

8. Pour batter into ungreased 9 inch baking pan and bake at 350 f for 45 minutes or until cooked.

9. Invert cake and leave to cool. Then cut cooled cake into 3 layers.

10. Whip the cream with icing sugar until stiffand leave in the fridge.

11. While cake is baking, prepare the filling.
a. Strain juice of pitted cherries into saucepan.
b. Bring juice to the boil and thicken with cornflour mixture.
c. Bring back to the boil and cook for 1 minute. remove from heat and let cool.
d. Add in the halved pitted cherries.

12. To assemble cake:
a. Slice cooled cake into 4 thin slices.
b. Place one slice of cake on a cake base and brush generously the simple syrup all over the surface.
c. Cover cake with whipped cream and then 1/3 of the filling.
d. Top with another slice of cake and repeat process , simple syrup, cream and filling.
e. Iced the whole assembled cake with whipped cream and decorate with shaved chocolate and marachino cherries.

Everybody knows that heart problems is the No.1 killer in the world....most of human population in this world will get heart failure when their age reach 40 onwards...but then lately this disease had capture it victim at early age like early 30's and what makes it more serious when the victim had no family history with this disease and he might get it maybe because he failed to practise a healthy way of life.Some says that we are what we eat....that explain everything.If you don't eat healthy your life might be at risk....Below are a few fact about HEART DISEASE that might be usefull to us....if you find out any of this symtomes on you you better gat your heart check or refer yourself to IJN(National Hearts Institution).....
